VACATION, DAY 7!

 

Well, I'm very sad:( Today was our last day in Florida! It was a very good day though, this morning we got up at around 6:30am and got ready for Mass. We had a lovely service at St. Rita's and it just so happened that today was the feast of St. Rita so it was extra special! Then we stopped by a donut truck on the way home and Jake, Joe and the little girls all got donuts (they didn't have the kind I liked) they were actually REALLY good! When we got home dad made bacon and biscuits and then we all got our suits on and headed to the beach for the last time.......... We had a wonderful time swimming and using our boogie boards!





Then my wonderful daddy told me to go to “Crabby Steve's” (if you don't know what I'm talking about read about day 4) and get myself a hamburger! It was my first time eating out by myself and I have to admit it was kinda boring without someone to talk to, but it was VERY good and I'm a sucker for hamburgers!

When I got back to the beach we all went swimming again and for the next 4 hours pretty much laid on the beach or swam. Oh!, and I found a TON of sand dollars!

 Then we came back took showers and went to dinner at a pizza place called “ “ it was REALLY good pizza!!!!!! (in case you haven't noticed I really like meat and pizza:) After we finished we went to Seaside, a town near Seacrest, and went and looked at the shops. There was an ADORABLE dress shop but they were REALLY expensive! We're talking $60 average!

Anyway, after we left we went to the sugar shak to get “THE BELLY ACHE!”, 16 scoops of ice cream and every topping! For $35! So we all chipped in $5 and got it, just to say we did:) And I'm proud to say, we ate it (most of it:) there were a couple of ice creams we didn't like so we didn't eat those.

20 minutes later.....

Then we came home, with a belly ache, and packed up all of our stuff (sniffle) and now I'm typing this while sobbing...

 My vacation is over, there is one bright side though! I get to see all of you!!! See you all soon!

VACATION, DAY 6!

 

Today I woke up at about 8:30 and ate my breakfast of sausage and Cinnamon rolls. Then we all got in the car and dropped the boys off at a state park and then all the girls went shopping! The shopping part didn't go so great though because Annalise was being a holy terror! I had to take her out of every store we went to (one store had a bunch of cute signs I love the one above). After a couple stores we couldn't take it anymore so we picked up the boys and went home (we were a little successful and found a few things though). After we got home me and dad went to the grocery store to get a few things while the girls went to the pool. When we got back we ate lunch, got our suits on and went the beach!! Today was the best day at the beach so far! The waves were HUGE and perfect for boogie boarding! We did that until about 5 then we came back to the house and mom and dad went out while we had biscuit pizzas and watched “Little house on the prairie”. Then Mom and Dad got home and we all had Klondike bars!! Watched another Little house on the prairie and I am now typing this.

 I have to go to bed soon because we have church in the morning at 8. I'll post tomorrow! Only one more day of vacation left! I'm so sad:(  See you guys soon!

VACATION, DAY 5!

 

This morning I woke up at 5 because Annalise wanted daddy. He, Kate, and Jake were going down to the beach to watch the sun rise so I had to get Annalise dressed so she could go with them. Then I went back to sleep. When I woke up the next time it was about 8 so I ate the breakfast that was left for me, a biscuit, and then mom wanted to go and hand out scentsy samples so Jake and I went with her while dad took everyone else to the pool. We went to a couple stores were I got some cool suviniers. Then we came back, ate lunch and went to the beach! The waves were AWESOME for boogie bording! Even Mom tried it! Joe and dad were having a skimming competition (if you don't now what skimming is it is really hard!) and dad lost every time, it was very entertaining though!Then we headed back up to go get snow cones, only to find out that the place doesn't open until Memorial day! So we went to a different place were I got a Delicious cappuccino ice cream. Then Mom and dad went to a Mexican restaurant called “la co cina” and had chips and salsa while me and Jake took the kids back to the house. While Jake was grilling chicken I made potatoes and the girls played outside. After Mom and Dad got back we ate and then after watching “charlie and the chocolate factory” we went to bed.
