Phantom of the Opera

Ok so yeah I'm totally obsessed! I just watched "Phantom of the Opera" for the first time and AHHHHHH!! For some reason I haven't seen it until now and OH MY it was good! I saw the 2004 version and they did an EXCELLENT job! The music? I was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! As you can ask my family (especially my brothers. hehe)I have been singing/humming it for about 4 days:) lucky for them I don't have the sound track! Yet! *evil laughs*
   Back to the movie, it was totally done in song!! which I LOVE!! and the costumes were AMAZING!!! The only thing I didn't like about it was the ending. I mean COME ON the poor phantom just goes away?!?!?! And she marries the rich guy?!?!?! who ends a movie like that? I was pretty much crying at the end..... Anyway, have you seen the movie? did you like it? If you've seen the play did you like it better?

Rain

         This morning I woke up to the sound of heavy rain and thunder beating against my window. I was laying in my own bed nice and warm, with my sister next to me. I thought how blessed I am. I have a nice warm bed, a roof over my head, and an adorable little sister (3 actually) just to name a few. Then I thought of all the people in the world who have nothing. We take most of our blessings for granted (me included unfortunately) and like the famous saying "you don't know what you've got until you've lost it", many people regret not realizing how blessed they truly were before its too late. I guess what I'm trying to say is to be thankful for what you have and try not to dwell on the things you don't. Hope this post enlightens you, and finds you in good health! Have a great week!

Branson

Last week Mom and I got to go to Branson ALL BY OUR SELVES! Now that might not sound really cool to you but in a big family that is REALLY hard to do! Mom was going to have a Scentsy booth at a convention for my dad's work and she wanted to take me to help her. Our WONDERFUL friends the Melbys volentiered to watch ALL the other kids for 2 days! So mom and I packed our bags and headed to Branson!

This isn't a very good pic because my zoom doesn't work but that cloud had a silver lining! It was sooo cool!



yup. Guss where we stopped?! lol

You can't see very well but apperently there is a band called "six" made up of 6 guys and they all have a different colored car! They drove right passed us so I had  to take a picture!



We went and got pizza at "Old Chicago" and it was DELISH!


 

Ok so we were staying on the landing and they had this statue out temporarily. I just had to take a picture of it! Doesn't that make you back hurt just looking at it?!

We had a great time and I got some really cute boots (yeah I know I'm a sucker for clothes and shoes) I'll try and post a picture of them sometime soon.

Part 2 of Jessica's Baptism

So after Jessica's baptism party dad took us to Ted Drews!!!!! Now if you havn't been to Ted Drews before and you live in a million mile radious then you are just plain CRAZY! It is THE BEST ice cream you'll every have. They are famous for their concreats, they're so thick you can turn them upside down and the ice cream will stay in the cup! So we hadn't been there this summer which is almost like a sin in our family so of course we had to go:) here are some pics I too while there:


Gramma go to come with us which was real treat:)



We all had a really good time and we LoVEd the Ice cream! Oh, and if your wondering why there isn't a pic of Jake, he didn't get to go because he went with our Uncle on a short trip. Have a great day, week, month, year, the rest of your life....ect.
