Update!

Whew! so much has happend and we have been so busy i havn't had time for much bloging (obiously!). I will try to fill you in though. This past weekend was a crazy one, full of unexpected turns! First off, mom decided 2 or 3 weeks ago that she was going to go a Scentsy meeting they were having in Ohio this past weekend and we were going to visit some friend while we were there. Well, the boys decided not to go, both going to their friends instead. So it was going to be a Girls+Dad and James road trip! FUN! Our plan was to leave early Friday morning but Thursday night I started feeling sick to my stomach and....threw up like 5 times:( I still didn't feel well Friday morning even though I hadn't thrown up since the night before. I decided I DID NOT want to go on a 7 hour road trip and potentially get other people sick, so i opted for plan B; GO TO GRAMMA AND PAPA'S!!!! So still feeling sick, i decided to ride up to St. Louis (where my grandparents live) in my PJs and my mom and dad would drop me off right at their house. So we are like 15 minutes from my grandparents on the highway when.....something goes wrong with the steering wheel! Apparently on of the belts  in the hood was almost worn through so guess what? we had to go strait to Dobbs to get it fixed and I had to walk in in my pjs, hair a mess, and the overall look of someone who has the flu. Very embarrassing! Thankfully my gramma came and picked us up so we didn't have to wait at Dobbs until the car was ready! The rest of the weekend was nice and restful, I pretty much laid around all the rest of the day Friday and by Saturday i was almost back to normal. Do you know what me being almost healthy, in St. Louis, AND with my gramma means??? SHOPPING!! OH YEAH! So we of course went shopping for some new decor for my room:) Me+Gramm and papa+shopping= HAPPY!!!!!!!! Sunday was, as you all hopefully know, SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!! So after Mass we made some yummy appetizers (or rather gramma did) and PIGGED OUT! Mom and dad picked me up before it started though *hoping* to get home in time for the beginning. No such luck:( We missed the first half while driving home but we did get to see the halftime show and the rest of it. I must say the halftime show was...interesting. I was VERY disappointed in the commercials though! I like the commercials just as much (if not more) than the actual football game! I only saw 3 that I liked (the Dorito, Budweiser, and Yoplay i think) and even THEY weren't that funny:( Big disappointment.
     Overall it was a good weekend, even if it started off bad. But i won't bore you any longer, i have a cake to make! Al's birthday is tomorrow! g'night
