Upcoming weekend!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while:) This weekend is going to get pretty exiting! Every year we go to our family's lake house for The Forth of July weekend. We swim, eat, visit and then set fireworks off while trying not to set any one's hair on fire:) lol! Anyway it should be a blast as always and I will Try to take pictures but no promises because I normally don't have time to take pics but I'll try:) In the mean time I'll give you a pic of my ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE cousin Emily! She is always happy, I'm not kidding I've seen her cry ONCE and shes 2!!! Hope you all have a Great 4th of July! <3 U guys!  ~Lena

Happy Fathers day to my wonderful father of 6 soon-to-be 7! I couldn't ask for a better one:) I hope all the fathers in the world had an AMAZING fathers day and I wish all the kids in the world could have as great a father as I have:) God Bless all the Fathers out there!:)

Homemade Ice cream!!!!

Tuesday we got to go to our Aunt Dian and Uncle Leo's farm/house! We are currently keeping one of our horses there so we got to see Lady and ride her! Then we got to make homemade ice cream! I have never made or tasted real homemade ice cream before, and let me tell you it was AWESOME!!!! I have never tasted better ice cream. It was sooo fun and the girls had a really good time mixing the ice cream:)

Graduation and Good Friends!

Hello everyone! This weekend was WONDERFUL! Saturday was my cousin's graduation party (we're going to miss you Maggie!), it was a great party even though it was like 100 deg. outside! Then after the party Joe and I got to spend the night! We stayed up till 1:00am visiting! Then the next morning we went to church and when we got back we made waffles! Then we had the great Idea to walk to Yo-My-Goodness (its this AWESOME frozen yogurt place), my cousins live withing walking distance of pretty much EVERYTHING! My parents came and picked us up at 1:00 and then we got to go see our WONDERFUL friend ELISE!!!! We haven't seen her since August so we were so blessed to get to see her again! We played a great game if water balloons and just visited. We love you and will miss you Elise! It was a wonderful weekend. Hope your week is full of good surprises!

Today I was trying on sunglasses, I have a white pair and a black pair. Madeleine came in the room and I asked her which pair she liked better. I tried them both on and without hesitating she said "the black ones, I can't see you face."
Then she left. Yes that's Madeleine, my sister.

Daddy's Birthday

Yesterday was my dad's birthday! He turned ? sorry I'm not allowed to reveal his age (security issues:)lol! As tradition, he got to pick his birthday dinner, chicken pot pie, and desert, Giant Ice cream sandwich (made by yours truly:). I think he had a good birthday, much better than last year! Last year we thought our horse was dying so after my dad got home from work we had to call the vet and everything, very stressful! The horse lived though:)

Marbling

Well today I thought I would try this new way of doing nails that my friend DESCRIBED to me. It is called marbling and it looked really cool and it sounded really easy right? WRONG! It took me an hour to do them and make them presentable! (note of advise, if you want to try this make sure you watch a bunch of youtube videos or learn from a friend!)  Here are what they turned out like:

Memorial Day

Sorry I haven't written in a while, I've been very- well you know my excuse for not typing:) Anyhoo, on Memorial day we got to go to our good friends the Clonts'es! I was a very fun evening! T.C curled my hair (doesn't it look awesome? I wish it would look like that all the time:) and did a really cool makeup job on me! Yes, I'm girly that way, I love makeup, hair, jewelry, shoes, clothes, shopping, nail polish, hunting, fishing,- I'm kinda a mix ;) But it was a good time and I am grateful to all those who fought for our country.
