Shopping!

Yesterday Mom and I went thrift store shopping! We went to this cute little store in Bourbon called "kids and kandles" and lookie what I found!!!!!


This AWESOME skirt that I just happen to have a sweater that is the exact color blue!!



These adorable flats! I don't wear a lot of red but I thought they would look great with jeans in the fall!

This Really cute shirt! You can't see it very well but it's a cream color with poka dots! I love poka dots!!! And lace on the collar.

And my FAV.... A bubble dress!!!! (that's probably not what there called but that's what I call them:) I have wanted a bubble dress sooo bad and look how cute this is!! And green poka dots!!! AHHHH! I'm so happy!

Happy birthday!

See that women up there? That would be my mom, who was born - years ago on July 24th 19-. She is an incredible lady who has given birth to all of us 6 kids and has survive my baby stage, toddler stage, middle year stage and IS surviving my adolescent stage:) She is such a WONDERFUL mom and I wanted to wish her a Happy (late) Birthday!!! I can't tell you how blessed I am to have a mom like her!:) <3 u mom!!!

July part 2!

Yikes! Lots of catching up to do! Lets start where I left off...
   July 7th we headed up to Table Rock Lake to my Aunt and Uncles lake house! It was sooo much fun! Our time was spent visiting, eating, painting nails, playing with cousins, and (of course) Swimming!!!! I think you get the drift that we had a good time! Sadly, the first day we got there we took the boat out but had trouble because it kept dying (note: if a red light is flashing and a beep keeps sounding turn around and head for home, it probably means something is wrong:) We did, however, make it to a bluff that you could jump off of. The boys jumped off the top part which was about 20' from the water. I, of course, was not that stupid and jumped off the lower one that was only about 5'! lol! We still had tons of fun swimming off the dock though. Overall it was a great weekend! I'm so thankful I have a wonderful family and a nice lake house to swim at! Thanks Aunt Angie and Uncle Dwight!

4th of July weekend (part one)

Okay, okay, Sorry I haven't posted in forever! But I've been very busy! I'll start were I left off~ 4ht of July weekend was AWESOME (no surprise there!) Everyone except dad went down to TDL on Saturday morning (the 2nd) After we said our hellos to everyone and ate lunch (I think we had hot dogs) we got our suits on had headed to the water! The water was PERFECT and we had tons of fun playing on the "Lilly pad". Dinner consisted of my ALL TIME FAV... RIBS! And bread!!!! I got a little slice of heaven that night:) Saturday night we set off our annual display of fireworks and only 3 exploded on the dock! (no one was hurt thankfully:) Then all of the cousins stayed up late talking and then went to bed. (Oh, we went to church Saturday night) Sunday morning I woke up late, had a good breakfast, and went down to the dock for another day of swimming!! My great grandpa's sister and sister in-law got to come down for the day making Sunday even more fun (Dad got to come down too! No work!) Again we swam, ate, and visited all day long. After we got out of the water my cousin and I realized THERE WERE NO DILLY BARS!!! Oh HORROR! No weekend at TDL is complete without dilly bars, so we took up a collection and Jake took my cousins and I to DQ and we got 4 boxes of dilly bars! When we got back we played a very lively game of charades! Then we had dinner and Jake, Joe, Madeleine, and I convinced mom to let us stay another night and Jake would drive us home in the morning. When everyone went out on the boat to see the fire works at the dam, Jake drove Me and our two cousins to the beach part of the lake where we could see the fireworks really well. we then went to bed and got up early the next morning and left. It was a great weekend but I didn't take a single pic! Sorry:(  I'll try harder next time! <3 you all!
